Fire & Life Safety Course Descriptions

Virtually every fire department in Manitoba carries out some fire and life safety education in their communities. Being pro-active is the way of the future. Does your fire department have the information and skills necessary to carry out fire and life safety education in your community?

The Fire and Life Safety Seminar covers the importance of teaching fire and life safety education, teaches you how to do a lesson plan and deliver the lesson. Various resources will be on display.

The Youth Firestop Seminar is designed for emergency services personnel, teachers, law enforcement, youth court officials, social workers, psychologists and mental health workers when dealing with juvenile firesetters. You will use proven assessment tools and intervention strategies to deal with the firesetting behaviour.
