COURSES ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL INCENTIVE FUNDS As of April 1st, 2008 COURSE | RATE PER STUDENT | | Fire Fighting Level I or Level II (Practical Evaluation) | $300.00 per student* | | Fire Fighting Level I or Level II (Written Evaluation) | $150.00 per student* | *A student completing both the practical and written evaluations for Fire Fighting Level I or Level II should be eligible for $450.00. | Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) (Initial Course Only) | $300.00 per student | | Basic Rescuer or Level C CPR (8 hrs) & Standard First Aid (16 hrs) (Initial Course Only) | $100.00 per student** | | **These courses are pre-requisites into many Manitoba Emergency Services College courses therefore, the initial course will be eligible for Financial Incentives. | | Hazardous Materials Awareness (Instructor Led Only) | $100.00 per student | | Hazardous Materials Operations | $250.00 per student | | Rescue Practices | $150.00 per student | | Vehicle Extrication | $200.00 per student | | Farm Accident Rescue | $200.00 per student | | Water Rescue | $150.00 per student | | Ground Search & Rescue – Basic | $150.00 per student | | Pump Operations | $150.00 per student | | Emergency Vehicle Driving | $150.00 per student | | Hydraulics | $100.00 per student | | Fire Ground Management | $100.00 per student | NOTE: For 2008-09 $3,000.00 will be allotted per district for travel costs to exam sites and instructor courses.
Mutual Aid Training Incentives Invoice
Courses eligible for Financial Incentive Funds are the Manitoba Emergency Services College courses only and must be taught by an Emergency Services Instructor recognized by the Manitoba Emergency Services College.
