A MESSAGE FROM THE FIRE COMMISSIONER & THE CONFERENCE
PLANNING COMMITTEE
On behalf of the Planning Committee and
the Office of the Fire Commissioner staff, I would like to thank
each and every individual for helping to make the 21st Annual
Manitoba Emergency Services Conference a great success. It is
the support of our participants, Suppliers and Manufacturers,
Instructors and local venues that contribute to this. In
particular, I would like to thank the staff involved for their
commitment to this worthwhile effort, not to mention the Public Fire
Paramedic Program students for their diligence.
This was our 21st Annual
Conference and as always a lot of work and commitment had gone into
the planning and organizing. This conference was for front line
Emergency Services Personnel and with that in mind, we planned
the best training weekend possible.
I encourage you to plan to
attend next years conference. With a committee of new members
we hope to plan a weekend of learning and social interaction with other
Emergency Services Personnel from across the Province and Canada
with a fresh approach. Please plan ahead and mark your
calendars for the October 2, 3 & 4, 2008.
