Building Standards Board
The Manitoba
Building Standards Board is appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.
The role of the Board is to provide advice to the Minister of Labour and the Fire
Commissioner on the Manitoba Building, Fire, and Plumbing
Codes. The Board consists of 11 members representing key stakeholder groups
concerned with building construction, building standards, and fire safety in all
forms of occupancies. The organizations represented on the board are: The
