Manitoba Building Code, Manitoba Plumbing Code, and Manitoba Fire Code

Manitoba adopts the National Building Code, the National Plumbing Code, and the National Fire Code. These Codes are developed by the National Research Council through a consultation process with representatives from all Provincial governments and with various stakeholders in the building construction industry.

There are Manitoba amendments to each of the Codes. Copies of the amendments can be found through the following links.

Consolidated regulations are updated as time and resources permit. They are usually current to within 90 days or less. Read the notice at the bottom of the first page of the regulation to see if it includes the latest amendments.
